Mumbai: Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi has said that the allegation of nepotism by actress Kangana Ranaut is surprising.
Actor Emraan Hashmi said in an interview that he has done films with Kangana Ranaut and likes her as an actor, but it is wrong for Kangana Ranaut to accuse the entire film industry of nepotism.
Emraan Hashmi further said that Kangana’s role in the film “Gangster” was more important than my role. Because of this film, Kangana got a new identity and opportunities to move forward.
He said that Kangana may have had some bad experiences in the industry and based on that, this is her opinion, but I think nepotism is unlikely to get a chance again. Maybe some people in the industry do drugs but the entire industry cannot be blamed for it.
In 2017, the actress Kangana Ranaut directly called the famous Bollywood director and filmmaker Karan Johar the pioneer of nepotism in Bollywood in his TV show “Koffee With Karan”.
