Islamabad: The court acquitted PTI founder in two cases of long march and vandalism.
Judicial Magistrate Shaista Kundi heard PTI founder’s plea for acquittal and production.
On the plea of acquittal of founder PTI, lawyer Naeem Panjutha argued that the allegations against founder PTI in all the cases are only limited to Emma, multiple cases were registered against her in the same day and she played the same role, plaintiff. It is the SHO who has no authority to register cases, not even witness statements in cases.
Judge Shaista Kandi asked whether the founders had been acquitted in PTI cases before.
The lawyer said that even before this, the PTI founder had been acquitted in several cases.
The judge accepted the petition of acquittal in the long march vandalism case of founder PTI and acquitted him in both the cases while rejecting the petition to appear in the court.
Cases were registered against PTI founders in Sahala and Lohi Bhir police stations.
