New Delhi: A terrible fire broke out after an explosion in a factory in the Indian capital, as a result of which 11 people were killed and 4 injured.
According to the Indian media, this incident took place in a factory located in the Alipur area of the capital New Delhi, where there were more than a dozen workers and employees at the time of the explosion.
The police said that the blast took place in the warehouse of the factory where the chemical for making paint was kept. After the explosion, a fire broke out that engulfed the entire factory.
The dye factory was located in a narrow residential area. Due to which difficulties were faced in relief works. It took 4 hours to control the fire. More than a dozen injured were shifted to hospital.
The hospital administration told the media that 9 people were brought dead while 2 people with severe burns died during treatment. 4 injured were admitted to intensive care ward.
An inquiry committee was formed to investigate the incident, but in India, factories for making paint, firecrackers and explosives are illegally built in residential areas, due to which such accidents are common.
