KARACHI: A Colombo-bound flight of a foreign airline had to make an emergency landing at the Karachi airport after a passenger suddenly fell ill.
According to details, a female passenger on a foreign airline flight from Dubai to Colombo suddenly became ill during the flight.
The captain asked the Karachi ATC for permission to make an emergency landing at the Karachi airport, while the Sri Lankan woman died.
After the emergency landing, CAA doctors checked the female passenger. The 57-year-old Sri Lankan female passenger, Paloni, died.
According to the doctors, the death of the female passenger was due to cardiac arrest. The federal health officer posted at the airport issued the death certificate of the female passenger.
The dead body of the female passenger of the foreign airline was sent from Karachi Airport to Colombo.
