Muzaffarabad: The Azad Kashmir Election Commission has issued an arrest warrant for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur.
A case against Ali Amin Gandapur for violating the code of conduct in the general elections of Azad Kashmir is under hearing. In this regard, Deputy Commissioner Dera Ismail Khan was issued an arrest warrant for the nominated Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur.
In the post, Ali Amin Gandapur has been directed to be arrested on February 28 and presented before the Election Commission of Azad Kashmir. The Azad Kashmir Election Commission says that if Ali Amin Gandapur submits a surety bond of 50 thousand rupees, he should be released from custody.
PTI leader Ali Amin Gandapur was the Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs during the general elections and he ran PTI’s election campaign in Azad Kashmir. During the election campaign, the video of him giving money was also revealed.
The Election Commission of Azad Kashmir had banned Ali Amin Gandapur from participating in the election campaign. During the election campaign of Ali Amin Gandapur, stones were pelted in Jhelum and there was also an incident of aerial firing by his guards.
