Lahore: Sri Lanka Cricket Board appointed former cricketer Aqib Javed as bowling coach.

Aqib Javed is leaving for Colombo on Sunday to take charge. Currently, his contract will be till the World Cup T20 which can be extended later. Aqib Javed, who has the experience of playing 163 ODIs and 22 Test matches for Pakistan and a member of the winning team of the World Cup 1992, is responsible for coaching with the Pakistan junior and senior teams. The lines are done. He has also worked with the United Arab Emirates team.
