Mahira Khan Opens Up About Unexpected Pregnancy
Pakistani actress Mahira Khan has opened up about her unexpected journey toward motherhood again at the age of 41, describing the experience as emotionally and physically very different from her first pregnancy.
Speaking during an interview at the Toronto International Film Festival in Canada, Mahira said her son has grown up and her life had moved into a different phase, with work, travel and established routines. Becoming a mother again after many years, she said, brought a major change to her life.
The actress reflected on how people make plans for their lives, but circumstances can unfold differently. She said the experience had taught her to accept life rather than trying to control everything.
Mahira also recalled that she was 24 when she became a mother for the first time. At 41, she said, pregnancy feels physically more challenging, with some days making it difficult for her to work as much as she would like.

During the Canadian event, Mahira Khan appeared in a figure-hugging black gown paired with subtle jewellery. Her baby bump was clearly visible, and photos and videos from the event quickly circulated on social media.
Her maternity look also prompted comparisons with Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone, as some social media users noted similarities between Mahira’s black maternity style and looks adopted by Deepika during her pregnancy.
