He said that for the first time in the country’s history, a Ramadan package of Rs 20 billion is being given to the deserving through the digital wallet, he directed that the scope of the digital wallet be further expanded.
The Prime Minister said that the welfare of the people is our priority, corruption will be eliminated with the modern system of digital wallet, corruption in utility stores was common, helping those who do not extend their hands to anyone is a good deed.
It should be remembered that under the Prime Minister’s Ramadan Relief Package, cash is being given to 3.9 million families, under the proposed package, a one-time cash assistance of Rs 5,000 is being given to each deserving family.
The budget of the Prime Minister’s Ramadan Relief Package was estimated at Rs 20.5 billion, this time the Prime Minister’s Ramadan Relief Package is not being provided through utility stores.
It should be noted that it was proposed to provide Rs 2 billion from the Benazir Income Support Program budget for the Ramadan Relief Package, while the Ministry of Finance has provided Rs 8.5 billion for the Prime Minister’s Ramadan Relief Package.
