Srinagar: In the forced election in Occupied Kashmir, the Modi government lost the election badly despite using all kinds of tactics and government machinery.
According to the Indian media, the results of the election completed in 3 phases between September 18 and October 1 in Occupied Kashmir were announced today. Majority of the voters boycotted the election calling it sham.
The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party got only 28 seats in the 90-seat elections of Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, which is being described as a “ballet protest” by the voters against the Modi government.
On the contrary, the electoral alliance of the opposition party Congress got into a position to form the government by winning 51 seats out of 90. Farooq Abdullah’s National Conference got 43 seats in this electoral alliance.
Former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti’s People’s Democratic Party won 2 seats, which will increase the total number of seats to 53 if it joins the government.
It should be remembered that the Modi government abolished the special status of Jammu and Kashmir under the Black Law and separated it from Ladagh and then integrated it into the federation by making it a unit.
The Muslim leaders went to the court on this unconstitutional move, but no decision has been taken yet, after which the turnout has been very low due to the appeal of the Hurriyat Jamaat by the Kashmiri people in the two elections.
