Jamaica: Former West Indies all-rounder Devin Bravo has confirmed his retirement from all forms of cricket.
According to a foreign news agency, Devin Bravo said in a post on Instagram that “my body can’t take any more pain, wear and tear and stress.” So it is with a heavy heart that I officially announce my retirement from all forms of cricket.
It may be recalled that Bravo had announced the West Indies’ T20 tournament ahead of the ongoing edition of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) that this would be their last tournament. He suffered back pain during a CPL match.
It should be noted that Devin Bravo retired from Indian Premier League in 2023 and international cricket in 2021.
He played 164 matches and scored 2968 runs in his one-day international career. While he has also got 199 wickets.
Apart from this, Bravo played 91 matches and scored 1255 runs and took 77 wickets in T20 matches.
