Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has said that the current program of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) will prove to be the last.
Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz said in a statement that Pakistan’s economy has come to a position of take-off for a high flight. The time is not far when Pakistan will emerge as an economic force. Positive response of IMF is welcome for economic development. The recent IMF program will prove to be the last. Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and his team played an unforgettable role in dealing with the economic crisis.
Maryam Nawaz further said that reduction in policy rate will have positive effects on business and economy. Investor confidence is increasing day by day. Punjab has the lowest rates of consumption of essential commodities compared to other provinces. The people breathed a sigh of relief due to the reduction in inflation.
