Rawalpindi Test; Pakistan batting against Bangladesh continues

Batting continues on the second day of Pakistan’s first Test match against Bangladesh.

In the match being played in Rawalpindi, Pakistan started their first innings by losing 4 wickets and scored 158 runs, Saud Shakeel and Mohammad Rizwan are at the crease.

In the first innings on the first day of the Test match, Pakistan faced severe difficulties initially when they lost 3 wickets for a total score of 16. Openers Saeem Ayub and Saud Shakeel scored half-centuries.

In the first Test match, Pakistan’s openers failed to play the Bangladeshi bowlers, opener Abdullah Shafiq 2, captain Shan Masood 6 and Babar Azam departed the pavilion for 0. After losing 3 wickets early, opener Saeem Ayub and vice-captain Saud Shakeel batted responsibly and took the team’s score to 81 runs by the tea break.

The veteran batsman Babar Azam was dismissed for the first time at the home ground. Saim Ayub returned to the pavilion after scoring 56 runs on a total score of 114.

At the end of the first day, Pakistan scored 158 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in 41 overs, with Saud Shakeel 57 and Mohammad Rizwan not out with 24 runs.

Toss

Earlier, Bangladeshi captain Najamul Hasan Shanto had won the toss and decided to field first.

On this occasion, captain Shan Masood said that if he had won the toss, he would have decided to field, but he would try to put a big score on the board and put Bengal Tigers bowlers under pressure.

The first Test match of the series between Pakistan and Bangladesh cricket teams started with a delay of five and a half hours due to the outfield getting wet due to rain and the game of 41 overs was completed by extending the time by one and a half hours.

Captain Shan Masood, Vice-Captain Saud Shakeel, Abdullah Shafiq, Babar Azam, Khurram Shahzad, Muhammad Ali, Muhammad Rizwan, Naseem Shah, Saeem Ayub, Salman Ali Agha and Shaheen Shah Afridi.
