Islamabad: 39 members of the National Assembly were recognized as members of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf.
According to the sources, the Election Commission has recognized 39 members of the National Assembly as members of PTI for which notification has also been issued. The Election Commission has also uploaded the ongoing notification on its official website.
In light of the Supreme Court’s decision, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf submitted the list of 39 independent members of the National Assembly and their party affiliation forms to the Election Commission.

The Supreme Court, while giving a majority verdict in the Sunni Ittehad Council reserved seats case, had ordered Tehreek-e-Insaaf to give reserved seats for women and minorities.
