Northampton: Indian champions beat Australian champions by 86 runs in the second semi-final to reach the final.
In the second semi-final of the World Championship of Legends played in Northampton, the team of Australian champions scored 168 runs for the loss of 7 wickets.
Tim Paine scored 40 runs not out for Australia. Neth Coulter-Nile 30, Calum Ferguson 23, Dean Christian 18, Aaron Finch 16, Ben Cutting 11, Ben Dunk 10 and Shaun Marsh 2 were out.
Peter Siddle returned to the pavilion not out after scoring 5 runs.
For the Indian champions, Pawan Negi and Dhol Kulkarni took 2 wickets each while Rahul Shukla, Harbhajan Singh and Irfan Pathan took 1 wicket each.
Earlier, batting first at the invitation of the Australian champions, the Indian champions scored 254 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
Robin Uthappa scored 65 runs for India. Captain Yuvraj Singh scored 59 runs, Irfan Pathan scored 50 runs, Ambati Rayudu scored 14 runs, Suresh Raina scored 5 runs and Gurgeet Singh scored 0 runs.
Yusuf Pathan scored 51 and Pawan Negi returned to the pavilion unbeaten by scoring 2 runs.
For Australia, Peter Siddle took 4 wickets while Nathan Coulter-Nile and Xavier Doherty took 1 wicket each.
The final between Pakistan champions and India champions will be played on July 13.
