With the support of the Government of Pakistan, the foundation stone was laid for the construction of 750 fixed houses for the refugees of Occupied Kashmir.
Azad Kashmir Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar Haq laid the foundation stone for the construction of 750 houses for the refugees of 1989-90.
The project will cost Rs 3096.050 million which will be completed in two years.
Addressing the ceremony, Azad Kashmir Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar Haq said that the Kashmiri people have never accepted India’s illegal occupation of Occupied Kashmir and Kashmiris have never bowed down to India’s oppression.
The Prime Minister said that today I call the name of the refugees, Kashmir, providing all the basic facilities to the refugees is the first priority. We salute the people of Occupied Kashmir for their courage to resist Indian oppression.
Government Minister Colonel Retired Waqar Ahmed Noor, Rehabilitation Minister Javed Iqbal Badhanvi, Raja Muhammad Siddique Khan, Chaudhry Muhammad Rashid and Malik Zafar Iqbal were also present.
