Manipur: An earthquake of 4.5 magnitude was felt in the Indian state of Manipur.
According to the seismological center, the epicenter of the earthquake was at a depth of 25 km from the ground.
According to India’s National Center for Seismology (NCS), an earthquake measuring 4.5 on the Richter scale was felt in Manipur on Wednesday evening.
The epicenter of the earthquake was at a depth of 25 km in Bishnopur area of Bankura district, NCS said.
It may be recalled that earlier this month, a magnitude 3.4 earthquake occurred in Manipur. According to the Seismological Center, the epicenter was at a depth of 40 km in the Kamjong area of Manipur.
