KARACHI: The total sales of cement in FY 2023-24 stood at 45.291 million tonnes, which is 1.60% higher than the sales of 44.579 million tonnes in the previous financial year.
According to the data released by All Pakistan Cement Manufacturers Association, cement sales in FY 2023-24 increased by 1.60 percent compared to FY 2022-23 and the total volume of domestic sales and exports of cement stood at 45.291 million tons, FY The total sales of cement in 2022-23 was 44.579 million tonnes.
According to the statistics, the domestic sales of cement during the financial year 2023-24 was 38.181 million tons, which is 4.58% less than the local sales of 40.013 million tons in the financial year 2022-23.
During the financial year 2023-24, the export of cement was 7.110 million tons with a significant increase of 55.71%, while the export of cement was 4.566 million tons in the financial year 2022-23.
According to statistics, the total sales of cement in June 2024 was 3.552 million tons with a decrease of 12.58%.
In the month of June 2024, the export of cement decreased by 17.95% to 4 lakh 72 thousand 865 tons, which was 5 lakh 76 thousand 309 tons in the month of June last year.
