Islamabad: An important meeting of the Judicial Commission was called for the appointment of ad hoc judges in the Supreme Court.
An important meeting of the Judicial Commission has been called on July 19 for the appointment of 4 ad hoc judges in the Supreme Court in order to reduce the pending cases and to provide speedy justice to Cylian.
Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Qazi Faiz Isa chaired the important meeting of the Judicial Commission on July 19 at the Supreme Court Islamabad.
According to the sources, in the judicial commission meeting, Justice Retired Sardar Tariq Masood, Justice Retired Maqbool Baqir, Justice Retired Mushir Alam and Justice Retired Mazhar Alam Mian Khel will be considered for appointment as ad hoc judges of the Supreme Court.
There are examples of Justice Retired Khalilur Rehman Ramde and Justice Retired Khilji Arif being appointed ad hoc judges of the Supreme Court. The decision to appoint 4 ad hoc judges has been taken to reduce the number of pending cases.
Sources say that the pending cases in the Supreme Court were reviewed and it was found that despite the efforts, the number of pending cases was not reducing, so for the appointment of experienced and well-reputed ad-hoc judges, 4 Judges have been nominated.
