Extension of Aliya Hamza's bail in a case registered under the PICA Act

ISLAMABAD: PTI leader Alia Hamza has filed an application for protective bail in the Islamabad High Court in the cases filed in Faisalabad and Sargodha.

Alia Hamza filed an application for protection through lawyers Khaqan Mir and Ishtiaq A Khan. He has requested hearing on the application today.

Yesterday, the Gujranwala Anti-Terrorism Court acquitted Alia Hamza in the May 9 case. No one appeared in court on behalf of Alia Hamza and the lawyers.

It should be noted that Alia Hamza was named as an accused in the case filed in the Cantt police station, the PTI leader was accused of plotting the May 9 attacks, and was arrested by Gujranwala police after his release from Sargodha jail.
