Petrol, Diesel Prices Hiked Again Across Pakistan From September 10
ISLAMABAD: The federal government has announced another increase in petroleum prices, with higher rates for petrol and high-speed diesel taking effect across Pakistan from September 10, 2026.
According to the latest notification issued by the Petroleum Division, the price of petrol has been increased by Rs3.40 per litre, pushing the new rate to Rs367.75 per litre. Petrol was previously available at Rs364.35 per litre.
The price of high-speed diesel (HSD) has seen a sharper increase of Rs6.72 per litre. Following the revision, diesel will cost Rs392.67 per litre, compared with the previous price of Rs385.95.

The new rates will remain applicable from September 10, following the issuance of the official notification by the Petroleum Division.
The latest increase is likely to add to concerns among consumers already facing higher household and transportation expenses.
