The tournament will be held in Ajman, United Arab Emirates, from November 12 to 25, featuring 10 teams competing for the title.
According to the PCB, several players who helped Pakistan win a bronze medal at the Asian Games have retained their places in the squad, providing continuity and experience ahead of the competition.
The squad includes Eman Naseer, Eman Fatima, Sadaf Shamas, Syra Jabeen and Shawaal Zulfiqar. The spin-bowling department features Nashra Sandhu, Momina Riaz, Tuba Hassan and Umm-e-Hani, while fast bowlers Waheeda Akhtar and Tasmia Rubab are also part of the team.
Pakistan have been placed in Group B alongside Bangladesh, Thailand, the Netherlands and Zimbabwe. Group A comprises Sri Lanka, Ireland, Scotland, Papua New Guinea and hosts the United Arab Emirates.
The ICC Women’s Emerging Nations Trophy aims to promote women’s cricket and provide emerging teams with opportunities to demonstrate their abilities on the international stage.
The inaugural edition was held in 2025, featuring eight Associate teams, with Thailand winning the title. For the 2026 edition, the tournament has expanded to 10 teams, increasing opportunities for emerging cricketing nations to compete at a higher level.
Pakistan will look to make a strong impression in the expanded competition, with the leadership of Muneeba Ali and the contributions of its emerging and experienced players expected to play important roles in the campaign.
