Pakistan Stock Exchange saw a positive trend at the opening of business and business was brisk, 100 index increased by 275 points.
During today’s business, the index was seen trading at 81,734 points, the 100 index increased by 997 points yesterday.
Last business day was positive in Pakistan Stock Exchange where 100 index crossed 82 thousand mark for the first time.
The PSX benchmark 100 index ended the trading day up 997 points to close at 81,459 points. The 100 index hit an intraday high of 82,003.
Yesterday, 459 million shares were traded in the stock market, the value of which was 18 billion 61 billion rupees. Thus, the market capitalization of PSX increased by 55 billion rupees to 10 thousand 665 billion rupees.
At the start of interbank trading, the dollar became cheaper by another 10 paise, with the dollar trading at 277 rupees 81 paise.
