Pakistan Army Commemorates 104th Turkish Armed Forces Victory Day at GHQ
RAWALPINDI, August 31, 2026: A ceremony marking the 104th anniversary of Turkish Armed Forces Victory Day was held at General Headquarters (GHQ), Rawalpindi, with Turkish Ambassador to Pakistan İrfan Neziroğlu attending as the Guest of Honour.
The ceremony underscored the deep-rooted bonds of brotherhood and longstanding relations between Pakistan and Türkiye, which are based on shared values, mutual respect and continued support.
Participants paid tribute to the courage, sacrifices and service of the Turkish Armed Forces, while reaffirming their commitment to further strengthening the two countries’ defence and strategic partnership

Military officers, officials from the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye and other distinguished guests attended the ceremony.
The event concluded with expressions of goodwill and solidarity for the people and Armed Forces of Türkiye, highlighting the enduring friendship between the two brotherly nations.
