KARACHI: One citizen was killed and 7 people including a woman were injured due to firing by robbers in different areas of the city.
According to the police, a citizen was killed and his son was injured due to firing by bandits in Zaman Town area of Korangi.
Another incident of robbery in Korangi took place in Chakragoth where two persons, identified as Qadeer and Ihtsham, were injured in firing on resisting robbery.
The police said that the accused tried to snatch the motorcycle from the citizens, but when the citizens resisted, the accused opened fire and escaped.
The injured were shifted to Jinnah Hospital for medical assistance.
On the other hand, a citizen was injured by firing in North Karachi and a citizen named Arshad was injured by firing by bandits in Sarjani area.
The police further said that three people, including a woman, were injured in the firing near two rivers in Seaview, who have been shifted to the hospital.
