Islamabad, September 15, 2026: The Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA) has achieved a historic milestone through its ongoing two-day auction of commercial plots in Islamabad, with 15 plots sold on the first day for more than Rs. 10 billion.

The mega auction, which commenced at 10:00 a.m. on September 15, is being held at Auragandi Event Complex, Service Road East, Sector E-11/4, Islamabad, and will continue on September 16.

Commercial plots in several prime locations of G-13 and G-14 are being offered, including G-14 Markaz, G-14/2, G-14/3 and G-14/4. The auction has attracted significant attention from property dealers, investors and business groups seeking opportunities in Islamabad’s rapidly developing sectors.

Strong Investor Interest in G-13 and G-14

The sale of 15 commercial plots during the first day generated revenue exceeding Rs. 10 billion, marking a major success for FGEHA and drawing attention to the commercial potential of G-13 and G-14.

Both sectors are considered strategically important areas of Islamabad, with growing development and significant potential for future business and investment activities.

FGEHA Highlights Transparency

Director General FGEHA, Captain (Retired) Zafar Iqbal, said the transparent, merit-based and well-organized auction would help strengthen investors’ confidence and contribute to the promotion of business activities.

He said the Authority was committed to providing investors with the best possible opportunities and facilities. He also emphasized that the auction process was being conducted transparently and in accordance with prescribed rules and regulations.

Investor Facilitation Cell Established

FGEHA has also established an Investor Facilitation Cell to provide investors with a centralized mechanism for resolving issues and obtaining guidance.

The Cell operates under the supervision of the Director Staff, who will forward investors’ applications and concerns to the relevant wings, monitor progress and ensure timely completion of necessary action.

The initiative aims to provide investors with swift, transparent and convenient services through a single point of contact, reducing the need to visit multiple Authority offices.

Auction Continues on September 16

FGEHA has invited investors to participate in the second day of the auction and benefit from commercial investment opportunities in G-13 and G-14, two of Islamabad’s prominent and rapidly developing locations.
