Pakistan women’s cricket captain Fatima Sana has reached Canada to join the Vancouver Anchors for the second season of the Super 60 League.
The Pakistan skipper was picked by Vancouver Anchors for this year’s competition and has received an NOC to participate, with no national team commitments scheduled during the league.
The Canadian T10 tournament is set to run from September 29 to October 4, giving Fatima Sana another opportunity to compete in an international franchise environment.
The all-rounder has already gained overseas franchise experience, having previously featured in The Hundred, England’s women’s cricket competition.
Her appearance in Canada adds another chapter to her growing experience in short-format cricket, while also giving her the opportunity to share the field with players from different cricketing backgrounds.
