Opener Fakhar Zaman’s difficulties are likely to be eased after former captain Babar Azam’s statement regarding his dropping from the team and his exclusion from the tour of Australia.
According to media reports, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has shown flexibility on the matter of the opener and his inclusion in the team is expected soon in the next few days.
The newly elected captain Mohammad Rizwan has raised his voice for the opener, on which the board has also shown lenience.
This development suggests that PCB is considering Fakhar’s return, which will positively change Fakhar Zaman’s standing with the board.
Earlier, Babar Azam had made a statement about being dropped from the team, on which he was issued a show cause notice by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), while the cricketer was not included in the central contract.
