Islamabad High Court Bar Association has called an emergency meeting on social media campaign against Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri.
The executive committee of the bar association has called an emergency meeting on July 9.
The High Court Bar Association issued a statement saying that it condemns the malicious social media campaign against Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri, Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri is an able and hardworking judge.
The statement said that Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri has a distinguished professional career as a lawyer and Deputy Attorney General, Islamabad High Court Bar Association fully believes in the independence and autonomy of the judiciary.
