ISLAMABAD: British-Pakistani medical professional Dr Azqa Sohail has earned the title of Miss Supranational Pakistan 2026, securing the opportunity to represent Pakistan at the prestigious Miss Supranational 2026 competition scheduled to take place in Poland.
The international pageant is considered one of the world’s leading beauty competitions, attracting participants from dozens of countries. Beyond physical appearance, contestants are evaluated on their confidence, communication skills, social impact, and their ability to promote their nation’s culture and values.

Dr Azqa, who practices medicine and aesthetic healthcare in the United Kingdom, has also built a reputation for her community work. She serves on the board of the London-based charity Adana, an organization focused on improving educational opportunities, supporting women’s welfare, and encouraging social development for girls and women.

Speaking about her selection, Dr Azqa described the opportunity as a defining moment in her career. She said she hopes to use the international platform to highlight Pakistan’s rich cultural heritage while promoting the achievements and potential of Pakistani women.
She also acknowledged the influence of her mother, whose determination and commitment to education inspired her throughout life. According to Dr Azqa, her mother’s journey from a small village near Malkwal in Punjab to becoming a college principal in the United Kingdom taught her the value of perseverance and hard work.

As this marks her first appearance in an international beauty pageant, Dr Azqa said she is looking forward to representing Pakistan with pride and demonstrating the country’s positive image before a global audience.
Congratulating the newly crowned titleholder, Miss Pakistan Organisation President Sonia Ahmed expressed confidence that Dr Azqa would perform strongly at the international event.
