Champions Cup, co-national cricketers unaware of match fee

Karachi: The national cricketers participating in the Champions Cup are still unaware of their match fees. According to the central contract, they were paid more than 322,000 per match, but the new contracts have not been announced yet.

According to PCB, currently all cricketers will get the same remuneration for domestic events. Mentors, on the other hand, are the ones who became paid Rs 50 lakh more than current cricketers like Babar Azam and Shaheen Afridi in one go.

According to the details, the Champions Cup One Day Cricket Tournament will start from Thursday in Faisalabad, in which all the star Pakistani cricketers are also in action, but they still have no idea of ​​their match fee. Half of the match fee of the international competition is given for playing the match.

The ODI match fee of the previous contract was 644 thousand 620 rupees, in this sense the players would get 3 lakh 22 thousand 310 rupees per match. The same fee will be given.

It should be remembered that Champions Cup is being organized outside of the Pakistani domestic calendar, domestic contracted cricketers get match fee of Pakistan Cup One Day Tournament 60 thousand rupees, non-playing members are given 20 thousand rupees.

On the other hand, regarding the five mentors of the event, Waqar Younis, Misbah-ul-Haq, Shoaib Malik, Sarfaraz Ahmed and Saqlain Mushtaq, the initial reports had come out that they will work only during the Champions Cup, in return for which they will be paid 50 lakh rupees. will

However, PCB has signed a contract with him for a whole year, under which he will get 50 lakhs per month, he will guide the players in the academies even after the recent event, and will also set up camps to search for talent. In this, he surpassed cricketers like Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi and Mohammad Rizwan, all three were supposed to get Rs 45 lakh per month in their previous contract.
