Saba Qamar Opens Up About Her Past Feelings for a Co-Star
ISLAMABAD: Pakistani actress Saba Qamar has revealed that she once developed feelings for a fellow actor while working on a film, but has chosen not to disclose his identity because he is now married.
Speaking during a charity event organized by SKT Welfare in London, where she interacted with fans and answered their questions, Saba was asked about her personal life.
The actress revealed that a few years ago, she had fallen for a fellow actor. She clarified that the person was not her co-star in a television drama but an actor she had worked with in a film.
Saba explained that she would not reveal his name because he is now married and she did not want to create difficulties for him or his wife.
The actress also reflected on her feelings, suggesting that she may have been influenced by the character the actor was portraying and could have mistaken those emotions for love.
According to Saba, she had even discussed the situation with her niece, who advised her to move on and forget the person. Her niece pointed out that the two actors were working together at the time and that the filming environment may have contributed to the feelings.
Saba said she agreed with her niece’s advice and moved forward.
She further clarified that the person was a film actor and said the incident took place approximately two to four years ago.
Following her revelation, social media users began speculating about the actor’s identity. Some users mentioned Hamza Khawaja, who appeared alongside Saba in the 2022 film Kamli. However, Saba Qamar has not named or confirmed any actor in connection with her comments.
The speculation therefore remains unverified, and the identity of the actor mentioned by Saba remains undisclosed.
