PML-N Punjab Assembly member Saqib Chadhar dismisses Hamza Habib’s allegation that shooters were allegedly being arranged to target him.
Saqib Chadhar Dismisses Murder Plot Allegation, Calls It a ‘Fake Story’
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Punjab Assembly member Saqib Chadhar has responded to allegations that an attempt was allegedly being made to arrange shooters to target Hamza Habib, the husband of Pakistani actress Momina Iqbal.
Hamza Habib had accused Saqib Chadha’r of allegedly arranging shooters to kill him. The allegation has now drawn a response from the PML-N lawmaker, who strongly rejected the claim.
In an Instagram Story, Saqib Chadha’r described the allegation as a “fake story” and appeared to respond sarcastically to the reported security concerns.
He said he would request the Punjab Inspector General of Police to provide Hamza Habib with the security he allegedly needed.
Saqib Chadha’r further stated that he had many other matters to deal with and suggested that the issue was not important to him.
The lawmaker’s response comes after Hamza Habib publicly raised concerns over an alleged threat to his life and claimed that shooters were being arranged against him.
Saqib Chadhar has denied the allegations. At this stage, the claims and counterclaims remain allegations, with no independent verification or official investigation findings cited in the available information.
The dispute has attracted attention because of its connection with actress Momina Iqbal and the allegations involving a sitting member of the Punjab Assembly.
