Education, Youth Empowerment Key to Pakistan’s Bright Future: Ibrahim Murad
KARACHI ( Timeline News ): Former Punjab Minister Ibrahim Murad called on Governor Sindh Nehal Hashmi to discuss ways to promote higher education, empower youth and develop joint initiatives aimed at enhancing the educational and professional opportunities available to young people.
Chairman Lotte Chemicals Dr. Imtiaz was also present during the meeting.
Talking on the occasion, Ibrahim Murad emphasized that investment in education and youth is an investment in Pakistan’s future, stressing that the country’s development could be accelerated by equipping its young population with quality education, modern skills and meaningful opportunities for professional growth.
Murad highlighted the need for stronger collaboration among educational institutions, government bodies and other stakeholders to promote higher education and effectively harness the potential of Pakistan’s youth. He said that greater access to modern education, technology, vocational and professional skills, and practical experience would enable young people to make a more meaningful contribution to national development.
He further stressed that youth empowerment should remain a key national priority, adding that creating opportunities for education, skills development, innovation and employment was essential for building a prosperous and progressive Pakistan.
Governor Sindh Nehal Hashmi appreciated Ibrahim Murad’s contributions in the fields of education and social development and agreed on the importance of taking effective and result-oriented measures to strengthen higher education and youth development.
The Governor emphasized the need to empower young people by expanding opportunities for education, skills training and career development, noting that the country’s future prosperity was closely linked to the successful development of its youth.
The meeting also discussed the importance of strengthening institutional cooperation and exploring initiatives that could provide young people with better opportunities to acquire contemporary skills and prepare themselves for the demands of the modern economy.
