Misbah Arshad to Represent Pakistan at Miss Universe 2026
ISLAMABAD: Misbah Arshad has been crowned Miss Universe Pakistan 2026 and is set to represent Pakistan at the Miss Universe 2026 global competition in Puerto Rico later this year.
The recorded crowning ceremony was filmed at the Rizal Park Hotel in Manila, Philippines, and released on YouTube in two parts on August 18 and 19.
Arshad secured the national title after competing against nine other finalists. Her victory marks another major milestone in her pageant career, having previously represented Pakistan at several international beauty competitions.
She is scheduled to compete at the Miss Universe 2026 pageant on November 24 in San Juan, Puerto Rico, where around 130 contestants from across the world are expected to participate. The 2026 edition is particularly significant as the international pageant celebrates its 60th anniversary.
Following her crowning, Arshad has begun preparations for the global competition. She is expected to showcase Pakistan’s culture, identity and heritage while competing alongside contestants from around the world.
According to international pageant coverage, Arshad was born in 2000 and has previously lived in Islamabad and Munich. She is studying psychology at the University of Hagen in Germany.
Her pageant journey gained prominence in 2023 when she was crowned Miss Pakistan World 2023 on May 31. She also won the Miss Aura Pakistan 2023 title and represented Pakistan at Miss Aura International 2023 in Turkey.
In September 2023, Arshad competed at the Miss Aura International pageant in Kemer, Antalya, alongside 42 other contestants. She did not secure a final placement.
Later that year, she represented Pakistan at Miss International 2023 in Tokyo, Japan. The competition featured 69 contestants, but she did not make the final placement. She also held the title of Miss International Pakistan 2023.
Arshad continued her international pageant journey in 2024, representing Pakistan at Miss Supranational 2024 in Nowy Sącz, Poland. She competed against 67 other contestants but did not secure a major placement.
Her latest achievement has now brought her to the Miss Universe stage, giving her another opportunity to represent Pakistan internationally.
Beyond physical appearance, major international pageants typically assess contestants on confidence, communication skills, personality, intelligence and their views on social and humanitarian issues.
With her national title secured, all eyes are now on Misbah Arshad as she prepares for the Miss Universe 2026 competition in San Juan, where she will carry Pakistan’s flag onto one of the world’s most prominent beauty pageant stages.
