Model Huma Saleem’s Instagram Account Vanishes After Harassment Allegations Against Unnamed Cricketer
ISLAMABAD: Pakistani model and social media influencer Huma Saleem’s Instagram account has suddenly become inaccessible, just a day after she publicly accused an unnamed national cricketer of harassment, threats, and emotional abuse.
Users attempting to visit her Instagram profile are now greeted with a message stating that the page is unavailable. It remains unclear whether the account was suspended by Instagram or temporarily deactivated or deleted by Huma herself.
The unexpected disappearance of her profile has sparked widespread speculation across social media, with many users questioning the timing of the move.
Earlier this week, Huma Saleem shared a series of Instagram Stories in which she alleged that a national cricketer had subjected her to prolonged harassment, intimidation, and psychological abuse. Although she did not identify the player by name, she claimed the alleged harassment continued despite there being no contact between them for nearly two months.
According to her statement, she had remained silent for a long time while enduring what she described as an abusive relationship. She said she eventually decided to speak publicly after the situation failed to improve.
Huma further alleged that the individual attempted to damage her professional reputation by contacting members of her family, friends, colleagues, and business associates. She also claimed she intended to reveal information regarding the alleged misuse of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) funds.
The model stated that she was preparing legal action and would submit evidence supporting her allegations to her legal team. She maintained that every story has two sides and claimed she had been defamed, deceived, and misrepresented regarding the nature of the relationship.
So far, the identity of the cricketer has not been disclosed. No player has publicly responded to the allegations, and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has not issued an official statement on the matter.
As of now, the allegations remain unverified, and no court or investigative authority has reached any findings regarding the claims.
