Momina Iqbal Harassment Case: Court Extends Interim Bail of MPA Saqib Chadhar and Wife Until July 28

Lahore: A sessions court in Lahore has extended the interim bail of PML-N MPA Saqib Chadhar and his wife, Samira, until July 28 in a case involving alleged harassment and death threats against actress Momina Iqbal.

The hearing was conducted by Additional District and Sessions Judge Nusrat Ali Siddiqui. During the proceedings, counsel for the complainant, Adnan Ahsan, was unable to appear before the court, while Saqib Chadhar attended the hearing alongside his wife.

The investigating officer informed the court that Samira had joined the investigation and her mobile phone had been taken into custody. However, investigators are still seeking another handset containing the relevant SIM card to complete the inquiry.

The prosecution requested additional time to finalize the investigation, after which the court extended the interim bail of both accused until July 28, 2026.

The case was registered by the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) on the complaint of actress Momina Iqbal, who alleged that she was harassed and received death threats. The investigation remains ongoing.
