ONE YEAR OF “MARKA-E-HAQ”: CEREMONY HELD AT BISP

We salute our martyrs, veterans, and brave soldiers, and congratulate them on the victory in Marka-e-Haq; due to this remarkable success, the Pakistani passport has become a “Passport of Pride”: Senator Rubina Khalid

Because of Marka-e-Haq, every patriotic Pakistani holds their head high with pride, and Pakistan has emerged as an important player on the global stage; today, the slogan “Pakistan Hamesha Zindabad” has become the voice of the entire nation: Secretary Amer Ali Ahmed.

Islamabad May 8, 2026:

A ceremony was organized at the BISP Headquarters under the auspices of the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) to commemorate the successful achievements of the Pakistan Armed Forces in Marka-e-Haq. The event was attended by Chairperson BISP Senator Rubina Khalid, Secretary BISP Amer Ali Ahmed, Additional Secretary Dr. Asmat Nawaz, senior officials, and a large number of BISP employees.

Addressing the ceremony, Chairperson BISP Senator Rubina Khalid said that Pakistan’s positive image at the global level today is the result of Marka-e-Haq. She stated that the courage, wisdom, and professional excellence demonstrated by the Pakistan Armed Forces during Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos in responding to India is a matter of immense pride for the entire nation.

She further said that the hosting of peace talks in Islamabad reflects Pakistan’s major diplomatic success. Senator Rubina Khalid paid tribute to the mothers, sisters, and sons who sacrificed their loved ones for the homeland, adding that the entire nation is proud of its martyrs and veterans.
The Chairperson emphasized that political differences may exist, but Pakistan always comes first for all of us. She remarked that the dignity and respect Pakistan enjoys today are the result of the sacrifices and achievements of the Pakistan Armed Forces. She added that for overseas Pakistanis, the Pakistani passport has now become a true “Passport of Pride.”

Speaking on the occasion, Secretary BISP Amer Ali Ahmed said that due to Marka-e-Haq, Pakistan has emerged as a significant player on the international stage, where global peace dialogues are now being hosted.

He stated that when India launched aggression against Pakistan a year ago, the Pakistan Armed Forces stood like a solid wall against the enemy and shattered all misconceptions of India. He further said that following the success of Marka-e-Haq, the slogan “Pakistan Hamesha Zindabad” has become the collective voice of the nation.

During the ceremony, national songs and patriotic anthems were presented. The enthusiasm of the BISP staff was remarkable, and all officers and employees paid rich tribute to the achievements and sacrifices of the Pakistan Armed Forces.
