Islamabad, October 30, 2025 — A landmark moment in Pakistan–China cooperation was celebrated today as the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC), in partnership with Skill Tech Hub Pakistan and China International Intellectech Group Co., Ltd. (CIIC), officially launched the Pakistan–China Welders Training Program at NAVTTC Headquarters, Islamabad. NAVTTC aims to provide international-standard welding training to Pakistani youth, preparing them for 100% employment opportunities in Chinese-funded projects across Pakistan.

The ceremony was graced by Chairperson NAVTTC Ms. Gulmina Bilal Ahmad, Executive Director NAVTTC Mr. Muhammad Aamir Jan, Chairman CIIC Technology Group Mr. Bu Yulong, CIIC officials Mr. Shi Yuanqiang, Mr. Wang Kang, Mr. Fu Jie, and Director Skill Tech Hub Ms. Noor Fatima Alvi. Addressing the ceremony, Chairperson NAVTTC Ms. Gulmina Bilal Ahmad appreciated the collaborative efforts of Skill Tech Hub and CIIC, stating that “this program will strengthen the friendship between China and Pakistan and open doors to many future opportunities for both countries.”

Executive Director NAVTTC Mr. Muhammad Aamir Jan congratulated the trainees and expressed hope that “this partnership will expand to other technical sectors such as construction, healthcare, and artificial intelligence, creating more employment avenues for Pakistani youth. ”Chairman CIIC Mr. Bu Yulong highlighted that the initiative will “further deepen mutual friendship and enhance long-term cooperation in skill development between China and Pakistan.” Mr. Shi Yuanqiang also highlighted that technical collaboration and skill-sharing between both nations will enhance productivity and mutual understanding.

At the conclusion, the distinguished guests jointly unveiled the curtain, officially marking the launch of the Pakistan–China Welders Training Program, a testament to how wisdom connects China and Pakistan — and skills build friendship.
