National players will join in breast cancer awareness campaign PINKtober by wearing pink jersey.

The Pakistan Cricket Board has introduced a special pink theme kit for the Pakistan cricket team for the first T20 match against South Africa.
According to the Pakistan Cricket Board, the national players will join in the breast cancer awareness campaign PINKtober by wearing pink jerseys in the first T20 match against South Africa scheduled for October 28 in Rawalpindi. Umpires, staff and commentators will also support this campaign by wearing pink ribbons.
PCB CEO Sameer Ahmed Syed says that we are proud to use the popularity of cricket for social awareness, prompt diagnosis can save countless lives.
The stumps used in the match will also have pink branding, while awareness messages in this regard will be displayed around the field.
This is the first time that the PCB has included a breast cancer awareness campaign in an international match. Before, “Pink Day” events were held only during the PSL.
The second and third T20 matches of the series will be played in Lahore on October 31 and November 1 respectively, while the three-match ODI series will be played in Faisalabad from November 4 to 8.
