ISLAMABAD, Oct 8, 2025 – The Centre for International Peace and Stability (CIPS) at the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) successfully concluded its landmark international conference, “Shaping a China-Pakistan Shared Destiny: The Roles of CPEC 2.0 and Academic Cooperation.
” The one-day event brought together a distinguished gathering of policymakers, senior academics, and industry leaders from both nations to deliberate on the future of this strategic partnership.
The conference served as a dynamic platform for in-depth discussions that moved beyond the foundational achievements of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) to focus on its transformative second phase. Delegates unanimously recognized CPEC 2.0 as a gateway to sophisticated economic integration, emphasizing its new pillars in technology transfer, industrial cooperation, and green energy.
A key outcome was the reinforced understanding that long-term partnership resilience is built not only on physical infrastructure but also on intellectual bridges.
