The Pakistan cricket team has left Karachi for Dubai to play its most important match in the ICC Champions Trophy.
The national team has left for Dubai for the high-voltage clash of the Champions Trophy, but Fakhar Zaman, who suffered an injury against New Zealand, could not accompany the team.
Fakhar Zaman suffered an injury due to a muscle sprain while fielding during the match against New Zealand yesterday, while the announcement of Fakhar’s replacement will be possible after the permission of the ICC Technical Committee.
Possible replacements for Fakhar Zaman include Imam-ul-Haq or Abdullah Shafiq, either of whom will get a chance to play. Earlier, Saim Ayub was out of the event due to an ankle injury before the start of the tournament.
Failure in the match against India will eliminate Pakistan from the semi-final race of the Champions Trophy, this match has become a do-or-die situation for the national team.
The Pakistan team will rest today after arriving in Dubai and will participate in a practice session on Friday.
