Karachi: The State Bank of Pakistan has said that there has been a 20 percent increase in foreign direct investment (FDI) in the country during the first half of the current fiscal year.
According to data from the State Bank of Pakistan, $1.329 billion in foreign direct investment has been made in Pakistan during the current fiscal year from July to December 2024.
The report said that investment by Chinese companies increased by 48 percent to $436 million in the current fiscal year.
Similarly, the United Kingdom has made $130 million in foreign investment in Pakistan in the first 6 months of the fiscal year.
