National team fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi has arrived in Dhaka to participate in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).
The fast bowler will represent Fortune Barisal in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), besides him, Faheem Ashraf, Jahandad Khan and Muhammad Ali are also part of the same franchise.
Defending champions Fortune Barisal have directly made the 24-year-old Pakistani cricketer a part of the squad.
The tournament will start from December 30 while the event will continue till February 7, however, fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi will be able to participate in a few matches.
The PCB has given Shaheen Afridi a No Objection Certificate (NOC) till January 15, 2025.
It should be noted that fast bowler Shaheen Afridi was rested in the Test series against South Africa.
