Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz says that my children are sitting comfortably and people’s children are crying in jails.
Addressing the ceremony of Honahar Scholarship Program at Fast University Islamabad, the Chief Minister said that I am happy to give scholarships to students.
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif launched scholarships for 2570 students of Rawalpindi Division at Fast University Islamabad in the second phase. 1660 scholarships are being given to students of public sector universities, 637 scholarships are being given to students of federal and private sector universities.
Along with public sector universities, now private technology and professional university students have also been given meritorious scholarships.
Under the Honahar Scholarship Program, the government will pay the educational expenses of outstanding students of 68 departments. Students of Punjab below the age of 22 can apply, monthly income should be less than 3 lakhs.
