Shaheen Afridi broke Wasim Akram’s record of 48 wickets against South Africa in international cricket.
Afridi achieved this milestone in 27 innings, Shaheen Afridi surpassed Wasim Akram by taking 50 wickets against South Africa.
Before the series against South Africa, Shaheen Shah Afridi had taken 45 wickets in 25 innings. The fast bowler took one wicket in the first match, while in the second ODI, he broke Wasim Akram’s record by dismissing four players.
Afridi bowled brilliantly against South Africa and led four players to the pavilion. It should be remembered that Wasim Akram took 48 wickets in 31 innings against South Africa.
Wasim Akram was in third place, now Shaheen Shah Afridi has replaced him.
Waqar Younis leads with 82 wickets in 43 innings while Saeed Ajmal is second with 65 wickets in 36 innings.
