SEOUL: South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol, who imposed martial law for a few hours in the country, has rejected charges of coup.
According to the news agency, citing President Yoon Suk-yeol’s lawyers, South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol, who has been suspended from exercising his powers after the country’s parliament voted in favor of impeachment, rejects the charges of coup but is ready to cooperate with the investigation.
The lawyer added that the president will present his position clearly and fairly in court. We are not sure whether the impeachment hearing will be open to the public, but if so, that is what the president intends to do.
