Islamabad: The federal government has introduced reforms in the FBR through the use of modern technology, following the conditions of the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
Licensed companies engaged in transit trade have been made obliged to use modern equipment and technologies, and legal action will be taken against companies that do not comply.
Licensed companies carrying transit trade goods will have to install modern tracking and monitoring equipment.
The FBR has also decided to conduct an audit through the PTA of the modern devices and equipment installed by companies carrying containers containing transit trade goods.
