Islamabad: The implementation of the decision of the Federal Cabinet regarding the elimination of Class IV vacancies from ministries and divisions and their subordinate institutions has been started.
The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has abolished 89 vacant posts of Inland Revenue after receiving a letter and circular from the Establishment Division.
According to the details, FBR has issued the notification of permanent closure of vacant posts according to which the posts have been abolished in Chief Tax Officers, Large Tax Payers Units and Regional Offices.
Vacancies are related to Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, according to FBR, vacancies have also been eliminated in Hyderabad, Gujranwala and Multan.
