A luxury BMW car worth around INR 8 million was stolen from Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty’s restaurant Dadar in Mumbai.
According to Indian media reports, Bandra-based businessman Rohan Khan lodged an FIR at the Shivaji Park Police Station.
According to reports, Rohan Khan handed over the keys of his car to the guards in the parking lot of the restaurant, who after a few minutes of parking the car in the parking lot, two unknown persons stole the car through modern hacking.
CCTV footage shows the thieves deftly opening the door of the BMW and taking the vehicle. Later, when Rohan Khan asked the guards to bring the vehicle from the parking lot, the staff were surprised at the absence of the vehicle.
The police have started searching for the car while Rohan Khan expressed his anger over the incident and said that it is unacceptable for a car to be stolen from the parking lot of Mumbai’s most expensive restaurant.
