Armed men stormed an Indian Army vehicle on patrol in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, as a result of which 2 army personnel and 2 civilians were killed.
According to Indian media, gunmen targeted a non-local laborer, Pritam Singh, who was seriously injured in Gulmarg area of Jammu and Kashmir. The laborer belonged to Uttar Pradesh.
Later, armed men attacked an Indian army vehicle in the same area. 7 officials were seriously injured in the attack and were shifted to the hospital.
In the attack, 4 personnel were confirmed killed, 2 of whom were officers while 2 were soldiers while the other 3 were seriously injured. The death toll is expected to increase.
No militant group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
The Indian Army surrounded the area and started a house-to-house search process and during that time, 2 Kashmiri youths were shot and martyred.
